Words of a Woman

So many beautiful posts,

so many voices & words;

every year, one day (8th march)

in different ways;

we’re celebrating International Women’s Day.

Do you think this is the  real celebration, when we post or talk about gender equality, work place equality, freedom, dignity, women’s rights, girl power etc. by dedicating just one day to women?

Then why people say to any girl/woman

“Don’t go out at night or don’t go alone,

It’s not safe”?

Then why it is harder for women to prove their worth?

Still do you feel it is a really celebration?

For  me the real celebration of women’s day will be when no girl/woman will feel unsafe to go anywhere,

when no girl will be judged on the basis of her clothes,

when “ladKa” (boy/man) and “ladKi” (girl/woman) will be treated equally.

Let’s start the journey to celebrate real.

Lets celebrate every woman, every girl; every day.
